About Mark

Mark D. Meurs offers Personal coaching and Consults, Healing sessions, Energy Attunments with Re-integration, Massage, and Healing Training.  He is currently located in Chiang Mai, Thailand where he sees clients and also does consults and distant sessions worldwide.

Mark began his career in health and healing some 30 years ago.  He began his academic studies in the area of Environmental science but quickly realized that it was people he wanted to work with.  Science was still of great interest to him but he wanted to integrate the science with human contact.  Mark completed Physician Assistant school at Albany Medical College in 1982.  A desire for a little adventure took him to American Samoa with a 2 year contract to do public health in a remote clinic.  That period was transformative for Mark.  A new culture with different ways of viewing life, death, and disease began to create a shift in his consciousness that continues to this time.

Mark moved to the Big Island of Hawaii after the time in Samoa and for the next 12 years he practiced Family Medicine and Pediatrics.  All the while the impressions made on him while in Samoa continued to alter Mark’s way of viewing health and healing.  Western medicine no longer felt like the best way to bring about good health.  Mark enrolled in the Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hawaii and studied Chi Gung  and Chinese Medicine.  This was his first real introduction to “energy” medicine.  He later learned Reiki and a variety of massage techniques with an emphasis on the energetic aspects of each.

Mark’s continued interest in Asian healing and culture brought him to Thailand in early 2007.  It was in Thailand that he was introduced to Reconnective Healing (RH).  Mark has an ongoing healing and massage practice in Chiang Mai, Thailand.  He sees clients locally as well as doing distant healings and consults.
