Real healing, genuine healing, can ONLY occur when there is a shift at the level of the Mind.  Sometimes, as you will see if you watch this video, it happens because of a near death experience.  But know this, it doesn’t have to be that extreme.  Only the shift in thinking and belief needs to be extreme.  That shift can be facilitated in many ways, energy work such as Reintegrative healing is just one way.  Realizing that you have the power to heal from a condition first requires that you realize that you created the condition in the first place.  That can be quite difficult for some to accept.  In this video you will hear the story of a woman who realized who she is, including the creator of her own cancer.  She made a shift at the level of mind and healing from her death bed came very quickly.

I’d like to talk about something I don’t hear much about when healing is discussed and that is relative vs absolute healing. First I need to discuss some metaphysics and philosophy to create a foundation for this discussion.

I’m a student of A Course In Miracles (ACIM) but I’ve also studied some Buddhism and some Hinduism. For those who aren’t familiar with ACIM, this is a book actually 3 books in one with a total of about 1300 pages. The 3 books were channeled to a woman in NY over 7 years beginning in 1965. The channeling came from an individual identifying himself as Jesus. The teachings are elegant and brilliant and do use some terminology from the bible but they’re quite different from the usual Christian teachings. It incorporates a great deal of modern psychology with Spiritual teachings. ACIM is basically a self study manual for Enlightenment.

All three of these teachings, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jesus in ACIM have a common premise: That premise is that this world and every thing in it, is an illusion or a dream. If we are to end suffering including disease, we must wake from the dream. In Hinduism and Buddhism this awakening is called Nirvana. Hindus describe this as Union with the Supreme Being. That’s also the meaning of Yoga. In ACIM it is the same, the illusion of this world is revealed and in its revelation (like waking from our sleeping dreams) it disappears to the unreality from which it came. When the illusion is removed we then realize we are a part of the Supreme being, God whatever you call it. We never left that state of being, we were just dreaming we had left. In that state of Union we are whole, perfect Love, perfect Joy, perfect as the creations and creators that we are. Furthermore, we have always been that and will always be that. This return to our wholeness and holiness is what I’m referring to when I say Absolute Healing. At that point you are the Buddha, you are the Christ, you are God and that is what you are and what you’ve always been.

Relative healing is everything else. It includes energy work like Reiki, Reconnective and Reintegrative healing, qi gung and anything else that can facilitate some kind of healing for the individual. Often relative healing can be an aid or path to Absolute healing. In my work, Reconnective and Reintegrative healing, it’s the Higher Self (the part of us now connected with Divinity) that we are reconnecting or Reintegrating with. So relative healing is important while we are in the illusion but it’s temporal and temporary. We are all moving toward that state of Absolute healing regardless of weather we have some particular practice or not. Ultimately we will all arrive, in reality we already have because time is part of the illusion.

Another premise common to these teachings is that there is just One of us appearing as many. That is why Buddhist tell us that complete Enlightenment can’t come for anyone until it’s accomplished by all.

I believe that one of the features of this time around 2012 is that more people than ever will wake from the dream, and that’s a very good thing!

In this post I’d like to introduce the concept of regulating our own frequency of vibration.  Managing our own vibration is critical if we wish to experience good health and also if we wish to manifest our desires.  The fact is we are managing our vibration whether we know we are or not.  The point is to be doing it consciously and not by default.  The manifestation of good physical and mental health as well as the manifestation of your desires has already happened and is waiting for you at a higher frequency vibration.  You have made your request to the Universe either directly expressing it or by having experienced its lack.  The Universe has manifested it vibrationally, but you are not experiencing it, because you are at a different frequency than it is.  Just as when your radio is tuned to 650AM you do not hear 95FM.  If you re-tune to 95FM, you then experience it.  It was there all along but not in your experience.  You can “re-tune” yourself through energy work and your own behavior, to a new frequency where your wellness has already manifested.

When we discuss frequencies of vibration, it’s always in relative terms.  Saying something is good or bad for you (good being at a higher frequency and bad being lower) will be determined by your current frequency of vibration.  This is true for substances such as food and alcohol or drugs, and it’s also true for emotions.  The emotion of anger is a higher frequency feeling than grief and by moving to anger you would feel better had you been experiencing grief.  However, had you been experiencing hopefulness,  joy, or other more positive emotions, anger would be and feel like a lower vibration.

The key to manifesting good health or anything, is to progressively and incrementally keep moving to a higher vibration.  It is possible to make a quantum leap to a higher vibration but it’s less common and probably more likely to revert back to the former lower vibration at a later time.  Somewhat like when you loose weight too quickly, it tends to come back quickly, because you haven’t really altered the underlying  habits and beliefs that caused you to be overweight in the first place.

There are a number of categories of things that affect our frequency of vibration.

Chemicals:  e.g. environmental substances, pesticides, pollutants, food additives, etc.

Food and water as well as other ingested substances such as alcohol, drugs, vitamins and other supplements.

Activities that can raise your frequency: Exercise, yoga, meditation, Qi gung, self healing techniques, receiving energy healing, dance.  Many activities can raise your frequency, if it feels good doing something, then it’s probably having a positive affect on your vibration and bringing you closer to the things you desire.

Perhaps the most important factors are your thoughts, beliefs and the feelings they generate.  Your belief and thoughts about a food or other thing is more important than the thing itself.  The thoughts and beliefs about something will determine the effect that results.

In a later post I will discuss more specifically about each of these vibrational factors and how they affect us.  For now, start to be aware of frequencies of vibration.  Notice how you feel when you observe something, interact with people, consume various foods and drinks, as well as how various activities make you feel.  This is the beginning of managing your frequency of vibration.

Reconnective/Reintegrative Healing, Qi Gung, Reiki, and many other modalities are forms of energy healing.  Some of these such as Qi Gung have been used for thousands of years to heal virtually every known form of dis-ease.    It’s clear that energy healing works but how does energy heal?  To answer this question, we need to discuss the nature of our being.  We know from Einstein’s formula E=MC2 that matter in it’s more fundamental form is energy.  Furthermore, all energy and therefore all matter has a unique frequency of vibration.  Our bodies being matter are therefore fundamentally energy.  We are energy beings!  Our physical bodies at any given moment have a unique frequency of vibration.  The frequency in a state of perfect health has a specific signature frequency.  The body in a state of dis-ease is at a uniquely different signature frequency.  To bring the body or mind back to a state of health is the act of the individual tuning to a different frequency.  Energy healing introduces a higher frequency vibration consistent with physical and mental wellness.  If the individual receiving the energy can allow them self to resonate with that higher frequency, they will experience a healing.  In a later post I’ll discuss why healings sometimes do occur and some times do not.  This by the way is true for all forms of healing including allopathic medicine.  Ultimately all healing is self-healing!

Your Participation: If you wish to pray or repeat mantras or anything else, please do it prior to the session.  During the session it is best to lie quietly on you back.  Your spine should be in good alignment.  Therefore, use either a small pillow or no pillow.  Mentally you should simply be receptive.  During the session observe your body, note the sensations without judgment.  If your mind is very active then I suggest you put your attention on your breath.  Many people fall asleep or more often go to a place between awake and asleep.  A few stay fully conscious the entire time.
